What Are HDPE Fabricated Fittings?

HDPE fabricated fittings are custom-manufactured pipe fittings produced by cutting, mitre-joining and butt fusion
welding sections of HDPE pipe and standard components to create a geometry that cannot be achieved with a moulded
fitting. They are used when a project requires non-standard angles, large diameters, complex transitions or
multi-port assemblies that fall outside the range of off-the-shelf electrofusion fittings or injection-moulded
fittings.

Fabricated fittings are the standard solution for pipe diameters above 315mm and for configurations such as
large-bore bends at non-standard angles, custom-angle tees, reducing tees and multi-outlet manifolds.

Our HDPE Fabrication and Customisation Services

Fabricated Bends

Mitre-cut and butt fusion welded bends are manufactured to any angle from 11.25 degrees to 90 degrees and in any pipe
diameter from 63mm upward. Used where the pipeline must change direction at a non-standard angle or where a moulded
bend is not available in the required diameter.

Fabricated Tees and Reducing Tees

Equal and reducing tees are fabricated to the exact branch angle, main diameter and branch diameter required by the
project. Suitable for trunk main junctions, distribution header connections and industrial process pipe manifolds.

Fabricated Reducers

Concentric and eccentric reducers are manufactured to connect pipes of different diameters where moulded reducers are
not available in the required size combination or pressure class.

HDPE Spools Fabrication

Prefabricated pipe assemblies produced to isometric drawings supplied by the client or engineer. Spools are cut,
welded and dimensionally checked in our Dubai facility before delivery to site, reducing on-site welding time and
improving installation accuracy. Flanged spools with stub flange and backing ring assemblies are produced to ANSI,
DIN and AS4087 flange drilling standards on request.

Manifolds and Multi-Port Assemblies

Custom HDPE manifolds with multiple outlets, isolation points and branch configurations for pump stations, filtration
systems, irrigation header installations and industrial process applications.

Flanged Assemblies and Transition Pieces

HDPE stub flange assemblies, flange adaptors and transition pieces for connections between HDPE pipelines and valves,
pumps, metallic fittings and existing infrastructure. Produced to the flange standard and pressure rating specified
in the project documentation.

1. What is the difference between fabricated fittings and moulded fittings?

The difference between fabricated fittings and moulded fittings is that moulded fittings are injection-moulded or
compression-moulded in standard sizes and angles during manufacture, whereas fabricated fittings are custom-made by
cutting and butt fusion welding sections of HDPE pipe to the specific angle, diameter and configuration required.
Fabricated fittings are used for non-standard angles, large diameters above 315mm and complex assemblies not
available as standard catalogue items.

2. What diameters are available for HDPE fabricated fittings?

We fabricate fittings from 63mm upward. There is no fixed upper diameter limit for fabricated components, as the
process uses standard pipe sections rather than moulds. Contact our team with your diameter requirement and we will

3. What material standard are your fabricated fittings made to?
